NORTH COUNTY: A woman killed while riding a motorcycle Monday morning on state Route 76 near Fallbrook has been identified as Patricia Lace Burke, 54, of Fallbrook, the Medical Examiner's Office said yesterday.

The woman and her husband, Howard Burke, were riding their motorcycles east on Route 76 about 10:40 a.m. near Couser Canyon Road when he made a right turn in front of her and they collided, authorities said.

She died at the accident site about 35 minutes later. –J.L.J.
