POWAY: Nature lovers can spend a night this month capturing and identifying all sorts of insects that inhabit Poway's Blue Sky Ecological Reserve.
Entomologists, staff members and docents at the reserve will lead an insect safari at 8:30 p.m. July 12. No creepy-crawlies will be injured.
Entomologist Mike Klein will begin the evening with a short presentation on “Bugs and Beasties” before the group heads off into the reserve.
The evening is suitable for all ages. People should dress warmly and bring a flashlight. Reservations are required.
