A woman who had just collected mail at her Mira Mesa apartment complex was carjacked by a masked gunman and another man as she got back into her car last night, police said.
The attack occurred at 7:45 p.m. on Caminito Alvarez off Mira Mesa Boulevard, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The woman had got back in her car when two men appeared, one wearing a green headband and the second wearing a black mask and black gloves, police said. The masked man pointed a gun at her head and demanded her purse and keys, cutting her hand with her keys as he grabbed them, police said.
The carjackers drove off in her silver Nissan Sentra, with the California license number 5ECH069.
