INDIANAPOLIS – It was another perfect day for the Colts. Their methodical offense shredded Tennessee's young defense and Indy became the first NFL team to clinch a playoff spot by rolling to its 12th consecutive victory.
Indianapolis is now the fifth team in league history to start 12-0, the first since Denver in 1998, and again looked impressive as its quest for an undefeated season continued.
Tennessee has lost six straight to Indianapolis. The Colts defense followed a physically dominant game against Pittsburgh with a second straight overwhelming performance, allowing the Titans only 40 yards on the ground.
The Colts still must wait until next week at Jacksonville for a chance to wrap up their third straight AFC South title and first-round bye in the playoffs.
