The Elks Lodge is offering several scholarships for high school seniors enrolling in college, public safety programs or vocational/technical school. Scholarships are also available to students with disabilities. Information: www.elks.org.
The East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility will host its second annual open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 446 Alta Road in Otay Mesa. The public can view where detainees eat, sleep, attend school and receive medical care. Information: (858) 514-3211.
