Mary Lee Adams, 71, of San Diego died Tuesday. She was born in Michigan and was an employment counselor.

Survivors include her husband, Myrl Adams; daughters, Linda Brennen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Adriane Hayes of Anderson; son, Gregory Adams of Poway; sister, Iris Saul of Los Angeles; brother, Kalman Robinson of Los Angeles; and seven grandchildren.

Services: noon Monday, Poway-Bernardo Mortuary, 13243 Poway Road, Poway.

Interment: 1 p.m. Monday, Dearborn Memorial Park, 14361 Tierra Bonita Road, Poway.

LEALAH GAYLE BANEGAS

May 20, 1965-Oct. 29, 2006

Lealah Gayle Banegas, 41, of Lakeside died Sunday. She was born in San Jose and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Banegas; daughters, Chouteau Marie, Autumn Ray and Casey Lynn Banegas; son, Clermont Banegas; stepdaughter, Rae Dawn Banegas; mother, Rose Marie Butson; sister, Laurel Hatfield; grandparents, James and Teresa Provenzano; and one grandchild.

Services: 10 a.m. today, Barona Chapel, 1054 Barona Road, Lakeside.

MILDRED ELIZABETH REED BENNETT

Sept. 19, 1913-Oct. 14, 2006

Mildred Elizabeth Reed Bennett, 93, of Santee died Oct. 14. She was born in Pittsburgh and was retired from the Army. She was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Heimburg; sons, William Bennett, Robert Bennett and Dean Bennett; sisters, Dorothy Moore and Eva Russell of Pittsburgh and Agnes Henry of Colfax, Wash.; brother, Lenard Van Reed of Florida; and nine grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Cabrillo Memorial Drive, Point Loma.

ESTRELLA N. BORJA

July 8, 1935-Oct. 31, 2006

Estrella N. Borja, 71, of San Diego died Tuesday. She was born in Stockton and was a buyer.

Survivors include her husband, Jose Borja; daughters, Terrie Mas of Florida and Kathy Andreotti of Oceanside; sons, Joseph Borja and Robert Borja of Hawaii, and Mike Borja and Wayne Borja of San Diego; brother, Frank Nunez of Hawaii and Richard Nunez of Hayward; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Cabrillo Memorial Drive, Point Loma.

Inurnment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

ROSE COTTRELL

Oct. 4, 1912-Oct. 29, 2006

Rose Cottrell, 94, of San Diego died Sunday. She was born in Chicago and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Campbell of Santee; sister, Isabelle Goldstein of Lakeside; brothers, Harry Gordon of Florida and Morey Gordon of Chula Vista; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

JAMES WALTER ELY

Dec. 13, 1916-Oct. 23, 2006

James Walter Ely, 89, of San Diego died Oct. 23. He was born in Lenox, Iowa, and was a minister. He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Ely.

Services: 3 p.m. tomorrow, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2710 Euclid Ave., San Diego.

KENNETH L. EVANS

Jan. 14, 1925-Oct. 23, 2006

Kenneth L. Evans, 81, of San Diego died Oct. 23. He was born in San Diego and was a transport driver. He served in the Army.
