MARION RODGERS KEESEY

Marion Rodgers Keesey, 90, of La Mesa died Monday. She was born in Pittsburgh and was a secretary for College Avenue Baptist Church. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Fleisher of La Mesa and Kathy Harris of Lubbock, Texas; son, David Keesey of La Mesa; and seven grandchildren.

Services: pending.

Inurnment: Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Ave., San Diego.

Donations: Mission Fund, College Avenue Baptist Church, 4747 College Ave., San Diego, CA 92115.

PAULINE LOUISE KELLEY

Feb. 16, 1926-Oct. 23, 2006

Pauline Louise Kelley, 80, of San Diego died Oct. 23. She was born in Jefferson City, Mo., and was a practical nurse for Quintard Hospital. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Kelley; daughter, Georgianna Avlia of San Diego; sons, Joe Klick and Bruce Kelley of San Diego and Larry Klick of Scappoose, Ore.; brothers, Jim Klick of San Diego and Arnold Klick of Mitchellville, Md.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services: have been held.

Inurnment: Mount Hope Cemetery, 3751 Market St., San Diego.

VERNON ELWOOD KING

Oct. 3, 1932-Nov. 1, 2006

Vernon Elwood King, 74, of La Mesa died Wednesday. He was born in Wenatchee, Wash., and was retired from the Navy. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of Faith Chapel Youth and Royal Family Kids Camp.

Survivors include his wife, Lois King; daughters, Linda Noe of Spring Valley, Genevieve Clark of Centralia, Wash., Nancy Burris of Jefferson City, Mo., and Kimberly King of Vancouver, Wash.; sons, Gerald King of Modesto, David King of Orofino, Idaho, and Ronald King of Rancho Bernardo; sister, Judith Warwick of Oregon; brother, Ivan King of Seattle; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Faith Chapel, 9400 Campo Road, Spring Valley.

Interment: Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.

ISABEL MAKI

Oct. 25, 1932-Oct. 13, 2006

Isabel Maki, 73, of Escondido died Oct. 13. She was born in Alberta, Canada, and was an antique shop owner.

Survivors include her husband, Ted Maki; daughter, Lynda Frechette of Houston; sons, Robert Maki of Fresno and Todd Maki of Los Angeles; stepson, Earl Springer of Santa Rosa; sister, Lola Tunnell of Texas; brother, Glen Paege of Arizona; and several grandchildren.

DOROTHY LOUISE MAURER

June 5, 1932-Oct. 31, 2006

Dorothy Louise Maurer, 74, of Lemon Grove died Tuesday. She was born in San Francisco and was a bank teller and auditor.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Maurer; daughters, Karen Olson of Dehesa, Laura Eaton of Atlanta and Teresa Gess of Lemon Grove; son, Steven Maurer of San Diego; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Viewing: 3 to 7 p.m. today, Helix View Chapel, Featheringill Mortuary, 9631 Campo Road, Spring Valley.

Services: noon Monday, Singing Hills Memorial Park, 2800 Dehesa Road, El Cajon.

NATHAN EDWARD MEYER

Oct. 24, 1918-Oct. 7, 2006

Nathan Edward Meyer, 87, of Lakeside died Oct. 7. He was born in Indiana and was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Meyer; daughters, Cheryl Cunning of Lakeside and Linda Covert of Evansville, Ind.; son, William Meyer of San Diego; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: 11:30 a.m. today, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Cabrillo Memorial Drive, Point Loma.

Inurnment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

BENJAMIN WAYNE MORSE JR.

May 15, 1989-Oct. 26, 2006

Benjamin Wayne Morse Jr., 17, of Ontario died Oct. 26. He was born in Whittier.

Survivors include his parents, Lynette Morse of Ontario and Ben Morse of Fallbrook; and grandmother, Clair DeSoto of Walnut and Alice Morrison of Fallbrook.
