Jose Manuel Padron Ramos, 46, of San Diego died Monday. He was born in Tijuana and was a blueprint technician for NASSCO.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Padron; sons, Jose Padron and Ivan Padron; father, Eliseo; sister, Georgina; and brothers, Jose, Pedro, Enrique, Guillermo and Gabriel.

Viewing: 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, with rosary at 7 p.m., Glen Abbey Mortuary Chapel, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita.

Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Charles Catholic Church, 990 Saturn Blvd., San Diego.

VERA V. RUST

Vera V. Rust, 83, of Chula Vista died Monday. She was born in Alliance, Neb., and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Francis Rust; daughters, Robin Royster and Gail Graber of Sacramento, Beverly Thornton of Sedona, Ariz., and Laura Rust of Novato; son, Michael Rust of Escondido; sisters, Idona Rust of Denver and Hazel Everette of South Dakota; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

EULA WANDA SAGUN

Eula Wanda Sagun, 62, of Chula Vista died Tuesday. She was born in West Virginia and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dominader Sagun; daughters, Michelle, Terathia, Melody, Dee Dee and Pam; son, Jimmy; and brothers, Charles and Calvin.

HYMAN SANDLER

Sept. 5, 1921-Nov. 1, 2006

Hyman Sandler, 85, of Carlsbad died Wednesday. He was born in Cleveland and was a bank vice president. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Sandler; daughter, Terri Sandler; sons, Dennis Sandler and Jeffrey Sandler; and six grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. today, El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego.

JOHN HOMER ST. JOHN

July 2, 1921-Oct. 28, 2006

John Homer St. John, 85, of Spring Valley died Saturday. He was born in Ontario, Canada, and was a contractor. He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Maria St. John; daughters, Veronica St. John, Betty St. John and Linda St. John; sons, Jose St. John, Anthony St. John, John St. John and Danny St. John; stepdaughter, Lucy Montaño; stepson, Miguel Montaño; sisters, Patricia Vilensky and Janie St. John; brother, Phillip St. John; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

KATHLEEN Q. SUMPTION

Kathleen Q. Sumption, 88, of El Cajon died Oct. 3. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa., and was a registered nurse and nursing instructor at Southwestern College. She was a volunteer at Kaiser Hospital and a coordinator for the San Diego Blood Drive.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Virginia Schoch of Radnor, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.

Mass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Santa Sophia Catholic Church, 9800 San Juan St., Spring Valley.
