SCOTT MANCHESTER / The Press Democrat A sea lion, which apparently swam up the Petaluma River from San Francisco Bay, tried to climb a fence yesterday along Highway 101 in Petaluma while trying to avoid capture. Rescue officials said the animal will be examined and released into the ocean.
