Taste of Thailand: Toys for Thailand, a team of Palomar College associates and community members who collect toys and money to deliver to the tsunami zone and abandoned children, is having a fundraiser. For baby boomers: A new transition course for the baby boom generation (1946-1964) will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 1, 8 and 15 at the Oceanside Senior Center, 455 Country Club Lane, Oceanside. Last year marked the beginning of the largest retirement wave in history. Topics will explore “Retirement, What Does it Really Mean?”, “What Will Become of Me, My Lifestyle and My Future” and “What Do I Need to Know?” The course will be repeated on Saturdays, Feb. 3, 10 and 17.
