BEN M. REINBOLD

Ben M. Reinbold, 90, of San Diego died Monday. He was born in Bowdle, S.D., and was an industrial photographer technician for Rohr Aircraft. He was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathleen Williams of Spring Valley, Cheralyn Barr of Santa Rosa and Patricia Coughlin and Margy Holman of San Diego; sons, Gerald Reinbold of Hillsboro, Ore., and Terrance Reinbold of Anaheim; sisters, Anna Kunstmann of Sheboygan, Wis., Sister Mercita of Mankato, Minn., and Helen Fuhrman of Aberdeen, S.D.; brother, Pius Reinbold of Sheboygan, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow, crypt-side, Holy Cross Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.

FAYE M. RICE

Nov. 25, 1905-Feb. 5, 2007

Faye M. Rice, 101, of San Diego died Monday. She was born in Colorado and was a beautician.

Survivors include her daughters, Gene Lathers of Imperial Beach and Pearl Peavey of Nampa, Idaho; one sister; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today, Greenwood Mortuary, 4300 Imperial Ave., San Diego.

Services: noon tomorrow at the mortuary.

Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum.

PABLITO RIVERA

March 22, 1937-Jan. 20, 2007

Pablito Rivera, 69, of San Diego died Jan. 20. He was born in Bamban Tarlac, Philippines, and was retired.

Survivors include his wife, Rosario Rivera; daughters, Jennifer Esguerra of the Philippines and Rosalyn Serrano of San Diego; son, Frederick Rivera of San Diego; and eight grandchildren.

Viewing: 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, with rosary at 7 p.m., California Cremation & Burial Chapel, 2200 Highland Ave., National City.

Mass: 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.

ERNEST N. SEAWELL

March 4, 1924-Feb. 2, 2007

Ernest N. Seawell, 82, of Imperial Beach died Friday. He was born in McAllen, Texas, and was a civil service engineering technician at North Island Naval Air Station. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.

Survivors include his daughters, Sue Berry of Chula Vista and Ann Cancino of Imperial Beach; son, Michael Griffith of Washington state; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow, El Camino Memorial-National City Chapel, 607 National City Blvd., National City.

PATRICIA SHIELDS

May 12, 1938-Jan. 14, 2007

Patricia Shields, 68, of San Diego died Jan. 14. She was born in Alton, Ill., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the San Carlos Friends of the Library.

Survivors include her husband, James Shields; daughter, Wendy of San Diego; sons, James Shields of Fort Stewart, Ga., and Jesse Shields of San Diego; sisters, Peggy Carpunky of Decatur, Ill., and L. Lynn Mades of St. Charles, Mo.; brother, John Mades of Port Neches, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, San Carlos Library, 610 Elm St., San Carlos.

GEORGE L. SMALLEN

Sept. 2, 1920-Jan. 29, 2007

George L. Smallen, 86, of Escondido died Jan. 29. He was born in Springdale, Ark., and was a world-travel counselor for an automobile club. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and the 397th Bomb Group.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Smallen; and stepdaughter, Sherry Greene of Washington state.

Services: have been held.

BETTY LOU SMITH

Betty Lou Smith, 78, of San Diego died Jan. 26. She was born in San Diego and was a store manager for Vans Shoes.

Survivors include her daughters, Marjorie Quecke and Mary Jones; sons, Marshal Smith, Murry Smith and Michael Smith; sisters, Lois and Mildred; brothers, Clifford and Frederick; and nine grandchildren.

RICHARD A. THADA

Richard A. Thada, 58, of La Mesa died Jan. 29. He was born in San Diego and worked in industrial tool sales for D & D Tool.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Thada; stepsons, Nicholas Griffin and Kristopher Griffin of Virginia Beach, Va.; parents, Vivian and Art Nottingham; sisters, Pam Thada and Donna Mohler; and brother, Ken Nottingham.

GEORGE DEWEY WHEELER JR.

George Dewey Wheeler Jr., 82, of Chula Vista died Feb. 1. He was born in Templeton, Mass., and was a quality assurance inspector for Rohr Industries. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of U.S. Sub Veterans.

Survivors include his daughters, Gail, Susan and Dianne; sons, Gary, Thomas and George III; sister, Madeline Clapper; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Elize Zamiara; daughter, Anastasia Zamiara of San Diego; mother, Sandie Hommianga of Peoria, Ariz.; stepmother, Dana Zamiara of Raleigh, N.C.; and sister, Nickole Zamiara of Goleta.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Zwierski; daughter, Sarah Zwierski of Imperial Beach; sons, Jimmy Johns, Paul Zwierski and Alexander Zwierski, all of Imperial Beach; sisters, Michelle Rozen of Long Island, N.Y., and Liza Blackburn of Salt Lake City; brothers, Gabe Zwierski of Brooklyn, N.Y., Peter Zwierski of Wisconsin and Eddie Zwierski of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one grandchild.
