Run for shade: Students of all ages will participate in the annual Jog-a-thon. International film: MiraCosta College continues its International Film Series with “Not One Less.” This tale of an adolescent substitute teacher in a rural Chinese village will be shown at 1 p.m.tomorrow in Room 3601 at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. February artist: The Vista Art Foundation will present the work of Jo Presbury-Smith for the month of February. Lagoon lecture: In honor of the anniversary of the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy, MiraCosta College and the conservancy will present a series of lectures. Celebrating 64 years: The Edith Macias Vann Southern California Chapter of the Women Marines Association will have a celebration celebrating 64 years service of women to the U.S. Marine Corps. A race against time: The San Diego Archaeological Center will host a presentation by author and video producer Steve Freers. Antique fair: The city of San Marcos Community Services presents its fifth annual Antique Sale and Appraisal, noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Barn in Walnut Grove Park, 1950 Sycamore Drive, San Marcos. Vendors will sell a variety of antiques and collectibles including pottery, linens, books and household items. Warm a heart: Celebration National Donate a Blanket Day with the San Diego-North County Coastal Chapter of Project Linus, sponsored by Altrusa International. Donate a handmade new blanket or quilt of any size during business hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bites and Pieces, 426 W. Sail in to MiraCosta: MiraCosta College will offer a sailing workshop covering the essentials of sailing including how to handle a boat, water safety and Coast Guard requirements. The class meets from 6 to 9:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 13-March 13 in Room 304 at the San Elijo campus, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff.
