Jewish Republican feels right on the right
One of my oldest political memories is walking back from synagogue one day and saying to my father, “Explain to me the difference between right and left. I hear these words all the time.” I can't remember how old I was – probably 8, 9, 10. This was during the Cold War, which is what drove my dad.

Octavio Rosales, 18, was fatally stabbed early yesterday by unknown assailants after he got out of a car on Hilltop Drive near Gompers Charter Middle School and Park in Chollas View, San Diego police said.
