NATIONAL CITY: A 30-year-old man was shot to death outside a McDonald's restaurant last night, police said.

The shooting occurred at 8:03 p.m. on Highland Avenue near Sweetwater Road, a National City police spokeswoman said.

Police said two men riding in a black Toyota RAV4 SUV fired multiple shots at the man as he left the restaurant, and he was pronounced dead at a hospital. The shooting may be gang-related, police said.
