TV Tracker: “Dancing With the Stars”

May 21, 2007

8 tonight, 9 p.m. tomorrow, KGTV/Channel 10

Last episode's recap: What incredible dancing! With four strong couples in the semifinals, six dances got perfect scores.

Top scores: Joey and Laila tied with 60, but they could have given Joey extra points for his elegant but athletic foxtrot and rocket-powered jive.

Trophies for All: How about a “Gene Kelly” award for Joey? A “Raunchy but a Blast” prize for Apolo? And for Laila, “Class Act” honors for graciously putting up with an obnoxious, arrogant partner?

Booted: Ian (pictured, with partner Cheryl Burke), going out in glory with a wigged Elvis routine.

Episode grade: A+

Tonight: The finals; the finale tomorrow night.

By noon Wednesday, a quick take on this week's episode of “Dancing With the Stars” will be posted on signonsandiego.com/tvtracker/.

“24”

9 tonight, XETV/Channel 6

Last episode's recap: CTU deals with the consequences of an attack. Jack goes on the hunt for Josh (pictured).

It's inconceivable: Josh is rescued, then recaptured in the same episode.

Water-cooler moments: Daniels considers trading Josh for the missing circuit. Jack, Morris and Nadia fight back to save their colleagues.

Episode grade: B

Tonight: Another hellish day ends for Jack Bauer.

By noon tomorrow, quick takes on tonight's episodes of “24” and “Heroes” will be posted on signonsandiego.com/tvtracker/.

“Heroes”

9 tonight, KNSD/Channel 39/Cable 7

Last episode's recap: Hiro's dad teaches him to fight so he'll have the confidence and skills to kill Sylar. Linderman heals Heidi, Nathan's wife, but Nathan opts to keep her ability to walk again quiet for now. Nathan wins the election in a landslide after Micah rigs voting booths. The FBI captures Ted, but Sylar causes the van to wreck and kills Ted to absorb his radioactive power. D.L. is mortally shot by Linderman.

I got a bad feeling about this: Ando, fearing Hiro lost his nerve to kill Sylar, arms himself with a sword to take on Sylar.

Water-cooler moment: D.L. phases his hand through the back of Linderman's skull (pictured), apparently killing him.

Episode grade: A-

Tonight: The season finale!
