Phyllis M. Fowler, 91, of Poway died Jan. 31. She was born in Freeport, Maine, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seaford Fire Department Women's Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Carledge of Seaford, N.Y.; son, Frederick Fowler Jr. of San Diego; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

RICHARD HARRY JARVIS

Richard Harry Jarvis, 85, of San Diego died Jan. 23. He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and worked in finance for San Diego County. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the San Diego Harbor Kiwanis and Elks Club.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Jarvis; daughter, Laurie Jarvis-Martinez of El Cajon; stepdaughter, Carol Hollingsworth of San Bernardino; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, f12 First United Methodist Church, 2111 Camino Del Rio S., San Diego.

Inurnment: First United Methodist Columnbarium.
