Spring Flings

March 9, 2008

Highlights and lowlights from around spring training:

WHO'S HOT

Daryle Ward had three hits, including his second home run in two days, for the Cubs in their 7-6 split-squad loss to the Athletics.

WHO'S NOT

Jason Bulger, a candidate for a spot in the Angels bullpen, allowed four runs and four walks with two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.
