Volunteers needed: The San Diego Wildfire Blanket Project needs knitters and crocheters to create handmade blankets for families who lost their homes in the wildfires. Meet at the Poway Library Meeting Room, 13137 Poway Road from 9:30 a.m. to noon today. Donated square and yarn provided. Bring your own hook and needles. Antique appraisal and craft fair: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Gloria E. McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace, Brengle Terrace Park, Vista. Gourmet edibles will be on sale. Consultation cost: $10 a item, limit three items a person. Information: (760) 639-6164 or (760) 639-6160.
