Pet of the Week: East Edition

May 10, 2008

CHEECH

Animal: Five-year-old corgi, dachshund and Chihuahua mix

Where: El Cajon Animal Shelter, 1275 N. Marshall Ave.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays for adoptions

Adoption fee: $65

Profile: Cheech is a neutered male. He was brought to the shelter by his owner because she was moving.

Cheech is a sweet dog and is definitely a lap dog. He lived with four other dogs and was very happy with their company. He can be a bit timid at first but opens up after he gets to know new people. He would do best in an adult household.

Cheech prefers being in the house whenever possible. He will play and take walks whenever prompted.

More information: (619) 441-1580
