SAN FRANCISCO – Oracle breezed past analysts' expectations in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The software company said yesterday that it earned $2.04 billion, or 39 cents per share, in the three months ending in May, up 27 percent from $1.6 billion, or 31 cents per share, at the same time last year.
